Power Control for Dual Powered Devices
Space and power have become more precious in data center environments as networking equipment becomes more distributed and virtual. Remote power control has become one of the most important components of a secure Out-of-Band solution as it can often prevent on-site technician deployments, while keeping the environment totally secure.
CDI has responded to client requests to create efficiencies for secure remote power control by releasing the PCM 607 and PCM 608 units. Both devices can control dual power inputs either separately or simultaneously “ganged” in conjunction with CDI’s Port Authority devices. PCM 607 is rated for 110VAC while 608 will handle up to 230VAC.
The new additions to the PCM lineup also can be rack mounted in a standard “1U/19” cabinet by utilizing company provided brackets to keep your operation fastened.
