Out of Band Applications The CDI product line was designed for Secure Out Of Band Management. This is explained in OOB Story.
A typical application is a network with several thousand routers scattered around the country. Typically several hundred are needed to maintain the integrity of the network. It is at these sites that CDI UniGuard or Port Authority devices are placed to ensure maximum uptime for the network without compromising security.
