Power Control Module OptionThis device when connected to the Uniguard will allow the CDI device to power reset a remote server, router, or other network element. The Network element can be power recycled for a predetermined number of seconds or can be shut of all together. There are US and International Power Control Modules available as well as 10 and 16 amp versions. The UniGuard can control one of these PCM's. |
General Information
The Power control Modules come in four models, In Line (110VAC/10A, 220VAC/6A) and in line High Amperage (110VAC/16A, 220VAC/16A). The devices use IEC connectors to provide power connection through standard detached line cords. This allows for separate power circuits to be used and consumes only one outlet per device.
A Male/Female IEC power cord is included to connect the In-line module to the attached device. Mounting Brackets are also available for the in line modules as well as a Dual PCM Adapter. The Dual PCM Adapter allows two PCM's to be controlled from one port on a CDI device. This allows redundant supply devices to be reset with one command and port. This also doubles the number of controlled outlets per CDI device.

Power Control Panel
The Power Control Panel can conveniently install either 4 or 8 Power Control Modules in a rack mount kit. This still delivers up to 15 amps per circuit unlike power strip type controllers that feed off of one circuit. |
